OLLIE BAKER is set to follow his former Clare All-Ireland-winning teammates Davy Fitzgerald and Anthony Daly into inter-county senior management, after being recommended by an Offaly County Board appointments committee to succeed Joe Dooley as the county’s new manager.
OFFALY GAA officials began the process of finding a replacement for Joe Dooley as hurling manager last night. Dooley stepped down after four seasons following their championship exit to Cork, but, according to county board chairman Pat Teehan, the wheels are in motion to find a replacement.
