The 2012 M Donnelly-sponsored Interprovincial Football and Hurling Championship was launched today by GAA President Christy Cooney at Croke Park.

Ulster football manager Joe Kernan, Munster football manager Ger O'Sullivan, Roscommon and Connacht's Donnie Shine, and Dublin and Leinster hurlers Ryan O'Dwyer and Liam Rushe, were also on hand to launch the event.
