Flights of fancy

A NUMBER of newspaper letter writers have welcomed Fine Gael’s proposal for a second airport in Dublin.

In the interests of clarity, which specific proposal are they welcoming? Is it Enda Kenny’s initial pledge to build a second airport in the greater Dublin area, or is it his proposal that Fine Gael would commission a feasibility study into the need for a second airport for Dublin, or could it be his suggestion that a second Dublin airport may be needed 20-30 years hence?

A little clarity and substance from Mr Kenny would be appreciated if this proposal/suggestion/notion is to be discussed seriously.
