IN response to your report and accompanying article on the Women’s Resource Centre (October 6), would it not be more genuine to have the headline read ‘Subverting the right to have an abortion’ rather than the one used which read ‘Subverting the right to choose’?

I HAVE been in medicine for 36 years in a consultant capacity and I have never witnessed such a low dastardly stroke pulled by any government as that perpetrated by this one in using the medical card as political fodder to cover health department incompetence.

WITH reference to your report on the sale of rosary beads in the souvenir shop at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin (January 23), these items are not commonly used in Anglican worship here and I would have thought there was already a sufficient number of other outlets available in the capital.
