TO join or not to join?

IF US President Barack Obama is really serious with his call to abolish nuclear armaments he will order the destruction of all US nuclear missiles as his is still the only country to have used atomic armaments in anger.

IN response to Noel Cashman (Letters, July 10), it would be contrary to my nature to support anyone who never worked, particularly if they deliberately avoided it. Mr Cashman misread what I wrote (Letters, July 7).
