Bono’s contribution
It’s surprising that this particular failure should affect him considering all the other failures of this Government - not to mention his own failure to contribute anything in taxes to the state coffers.
But then again, after he was pictured in Dublin putting a spare coin into a charity collection box, I suppose he now considers himself on a par with PAYE workers who can’t afford to travel to meet world leaders and try to dictate monetary policies.
Not bad for a singer - even if he’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
