Looking for lifeboats

It is ironic that 100 years ago the Titanic lay floundering in the North Atlantic, taking on water and sinking.

The rich and first class passengers at least had a chance of surviving in the lifeboats.

Today, while Ireland flounders in the Atlantic, the rich again have the advantage of the lifeboats while those of us in steerage will go down with the ship as our hard fought for life-jackets are taken from us piece by piece.
