Unhealthy balance in our insurance cover

TO join or not to join?

That is the question.

In 2009, my wife and I paid VHI in excess of €1,400 for our health cover.

We also paid €1,000 for prescription drugs. Our GP and consultants’ fees, plus various hospital charges, amounted to €1,370.

This gives a total of €3,770. VHI has refunded me €55. Now am I not glad to have joined VHI?
