15-acre chunk of Kerry 'Gold' expecting €20k-€25k/acre
The holding is close to Castlegregory village, with its tourism and development potential.
Located on the stunning Dingle Peninsula, a 15-acre holding is new to the market with Tralee-based McQuinn Consulting.
The property is in the townland of Martramane, adjacent to Castlegregory village, its tourism and development potential ensuring an intriguing mixture of interested parties.
“This is prime agricultural land,” says selling agent Éamonn McQuinn. “It’s not zoned but it’s so close to the village that it may come into a zoning area at some point so there is ‘hope value’ with it.”
The agent says since the property went on the market a short few weeks ago, there has been a lot of interest in it.
“I’ve been getting enquiries from a lot of people holidaying in the area, amongst others.” Mr McQuinn says. “There’s extensive road frontage there and we’re offering it in two lots [of eight acres and seven acres]… there are a couple of small agricultural buildings on Lot 1 (eight acres) and the land is some of the best agricultural land in the area.”
The price expectation (based on previous sales locally) for this piece of Kerry gold is €20,000 — €25,000/acre, with offers already on the table.
