Ger Brennan calls GAA president comments on disciplinary case 'insulting'

Dublin senior football manager Ger Brennan, via his solicitor, has described GAA president Jarlath Burns’ comments about his disciplinary case as “insulting”.

In a statement on behalf of the St Vincent’s man, solicitor Conor Sally questioned Burns’ claim that people were "irrationally" comparing Brennan’s 12-week ban with Jim McGuinness avoiding a penalty for pushing Kerry player Diarmuid O’Connor.
