Coming up for auction on June 23 at the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne, Co Meath, is a 43-acre farm at Grange, Ballyboughal, north Co Dublin.
According to selling agent Will Coonan of Maynooth-based auctioneers Coonan Property, this is an “exceptional opportunity to acquire a substantial landholding extending approximately 43.2 acres and offered in lots on the southern edge of Ballyboughal”.
The farm is in a prime rural setting, with great connectivity to Dublin city centre and is close to Lusk. It is bounded to the north by an established residential roadway while the western boundary adjoins existing commercial operations.
“The holding is divided into two distinct lots, and comprises good-quality land suitable for a variety of uses including equestrian, agricultural and commercial purposes,” Mr Coonan said.
Access is good, with easy connectivity to the M1 and M2 motorways.
- Lot 1 consists of 6.9 acres. This has obvious potential development, according to the agents, with access via a right of way to the R108;
- Lot 2 consists of 36.3 acres. This is good-quality land the agents say is suitable for most agricultural uses, with access off a local road connected to the R129;
- Lot 3 is the entire holding.
The guide price for Lot 1 is in excess of €40,000/acre, while Lot 2 is guiding in excess of €20,000/acre.
