The owners of a much-loved restaurant in Cork City have announced that they will close their doors in the coming weeks.

14A on French Church Street in the city centre, which has been a popular dining spot for the last 25 years, will take orders from loyal customers for the final time on June 14.

In a post shared on social media on Tuesday, customers were thanked for their loyalty and for the fond memories made at the restaurant over the years.

“After 25 truly wonderful years, the time has come to say goodbye. As our lease comes to an end, we close this chapter on French Church Street with full hearts and gratitude,” the post read.

“Our final day will be Sunday, 14th June 2026. Thank you so much for your loyal support, friendship and memories shared with us over the years.

“It has been a privilege to welcome you through our doors and we are grateful for every visit. To all the incredible staff, past and present, a very special thank you.
