Another Irish State survivors commission and The UK Goddard Inquiry — once again at enormous cost to the Irish State and taxpayers of many millions of euros, and as usual more to do with the Commission of Inquiry itself than the survivors it is supposed to help.
One million, one hundred and forty seven thousand, five hundred and thirty four persons, entitled to vote in General Election 2016, lacked the incentive to go to their local polling station. That’s nearly one third of the electorate.

What’s so unique and special about Australia compared to our country.
Perhaps its time for the Irish electorate to take a long, hard look at the Irish political system and politicians in general.
Given the disintegration of Syria and the consequent presence of Islamic terrorists within a day’s drive, is it any wonder that israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has categorically stated that “the Golan Heights will forever remain in Israeli hands” (World News,18 April)?
