Cork man accused of making death threats at credit union robbery given time to decide on plea

A 41-year-old man charged with threatening to kill four people at a credit union while carrying out a robbery with what looked like a handgun had the case against him adjourned until October 6 for consultation with his solicitor on whether a plea of guilty or not guilty will be entered to the charges.

Stephen Murphy of 1 Deanrock Villas, Togher, Cork, faces a variety of charges arising out of the alleged robbery on Friday, May 15, at The Lough Credit Union, Togher Road, Cork.
