No deal once the two jokers are in control

April 17 was day 52 of a temporary government.
No deal once the two jokers are in control

A deck of playing cards has 52 cards plus two jokers. The Dáil is like three decks of cards (156 TDs) plus two jokers (TD Kenny and TD Martin) Over the past few weeks there is more political shuffling going on in Leinster House than a night in Las Vegas. May I suggest a redeal or meeting of like-minded TDs who vote in a secret ballot... no whip and no recourse, and the one with the most votes becomes Taoiseach and the second becomes Tánaiste then those two political parties form a government and give them a three-year warranty on parts, but no Labour!
