Pamela Twomey, a care assistant with Horizons for 25 years, says: "It’s not just a job, it’s about making a real difference in the community and being part of a team that truly cares.”

Horizons, formerly known as Cope Foundation, is hosting a recruitment open day in the Clonakilty Park Hotel on Saturday, October 18, from 11am to 4pm.

The service, which supports over 2,800 people with an intellectual disability and/or autism, is growing and seeking candidates for care assistants, nurses and social care worker vacancies throughout west Cork. It has operations in Clonakilty, Bandon, Macroom and Skibbereen.
