Bypass interchange is gone to the dogs
I suggest that the most appropriate figure would be that of a greyhound to be placed at the Curraheen interchange on the bypass facing the Curraheen Park greyhound track.
In keeping with the design of the interchange, this should be a three-legged greyhound, seeing as the interchange is designed to have on and off ramps on the northern side but only an off ramp on the southern side.
The history of civil engineering projects in Ireland from the mad cow roundabout to the Dublin port tunnel and the magic roundabout in Cork seems about to include another expensive foul-up. It looks like our public projects come straight from the Oliver Hardy school of engineering.
Another fine mess.
