COLETTE SHERIDAN (Irish Examiner, May 14) thinks teenagers are preoccupied with telephone credit and alcohol. She also adopted an extremely patronising tone when she said my generation didn’t know our country’s history.

Way out of touch

I find this very insulting.

She’s way out of touch and is unable to write objectively on any matter concerning the “average 16-year-old”.
