I refer to recent articles in the Irish Examiner by Jess Casey on the resignations of Pauline Mellon and Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin from the Leaving Certificate Mathematics Development Group.

The problems reported by these members of the above development group were also experienced by development groups on the subjects of biology, chemistry, and physics.
