Did you know that it's only been a week and a half since Leo Varadkar announced he would step down as Taoiseach?

No, seriously. Check a calendar. While it may feel like an age ago, the fact is that Simon Harris is still over a week from becoming Taoiseach, though despite not yet being ensconced in the Taoiseach's office in Government Buildings, Mr Harris already has party members calling on him to change legislation, most notably two bills on hate crime and hate speech, and plans to extend licensing laws.
