Cowen & Co show true colours

DO you not think it outrageous that the Taoiseach is asking us to vote for something which he hasn’t even bothered to read and therefore is incapable of understanding.

And despite the fact that Brian Cowen hasn’t read the text of the Lisbon Treaty, he feels entitled to bind the consciences of fellow party members to a yes vote. Incredible.

For the past few weeks we have been forced to endure a Government-backed smear campaign against the treaty’s opponents, that is against those people who have actually read it and clearly understand its dangers.
