A second date has been added for the Wolfe Tones at the 3Arena ahead of their upcoming 60th anniversary tour in Dublin next year.Â
After tickets for the band's Saturday, October 12, show sold out when they went on sale on Friday morning, a second date was added for Friday, October 11, 2024, at the 3Arena.
Tickets for the gig will go on sale on Monday, September 18, at 9am.Â

The band has had a career spanning from 1964 to the present day and is known for delivering ballads like Grace and Celtic Symphony.Â
However, the folk and rebel musicians have come under criticism in the past for pro-IRA chants from fans attending their gigs. During their Electric Picnic gig, chants of "Ooh ah, up the RA" were heard from the crowd.Â
This drew concern from voices about whether young people should be singing these chants or not.Â
Former Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, told Newstalk's The Hard Shoulder that young people should be educated on what happened during the Troubles.Â
“But I think young people, as a separate project, should educate themselves about what happened on this island. About the ferocious trauma that we had from ’68 on, the fact that 3,700 people were killed, that we had tens of thousands of bombs, shootings that damaged our image all over the world," he said.Â
