Two people, believed to be a man and a woman, have died in a house fire in Dunmanway, Co Cork.

An 82-year-old man has died after a fire in Boherash, Glanworth, Co Cork.

The man who died at a housefire in Cork this afternoon has been named.

Experts from the Technical Bureau at Garda headquarters in Dublin have been carrying out investigations into the cause of a fire that broke out in the Cork City Sunbeam business park this morning.

Gardai are investigating whether or not a fire at a factory in Cork which destroyed the plant early today, was started deliberately.
