Co Cork house fire claims two lives

Two people, believed to be a man and a woman, have died in a house fire in Dunmanway, Co Cork.

The fire brigade and gardaí were called to the scene at around 7.30am and found the two bodies in the house.

Gardaí said the victims were believed to be an elderly woman and a younger man, possibly a mother and son.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation, but detectives are not treating it as suspicious.
