Gardai probe Cork factory fire

Gardai are investigating whether or not a fire at a factory in Cork which destroyed the plant early today, was started deliberately.

The fire services brought the blaze under control quickly, but damage was extensive.

75 employees now face an uncertain future this afternoon, while the owners of the Key Tec plant in the Blackpool area of the city are facing losses of millions of pounds.
