Aer Lingus, Iberia extend code sharing agreement

Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana SA said it has agreed with Aer Lingus to extend their code sharing agreement to domestic flights in Ireland, as well as routes between Ireland and London.

Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana SA said it has agreed with Aer Lingus to extend their code sharing agreement to domestic flights in Ireland, as well as routes between Ireland and London.

In a statement, Iberia said Aer Lingus flights from Cork and Shannon to Dublin and London, as well as those between the two capital cities, now carry the Spanish airline's codes.

The two companies already had a code sharing agreement in place for Dublin/Madrid and Dublin/Barcelona routes, Iberia noted.
