EUROPEAN stocks climbed after BNP Paribas SA agreed to buy Community First Bankshares Inc for $1.2 billion in cash.

Iberia Lineas Aereas de Espana SA said it has agreed with Aer Lingus to extend their code sharing agreement to domestic flights in Ireland, as well as routes between Ireland and London.
