SPL: Advocaat ponders Ball's future
Rangers manager Dick Advocaat will make Michael Ball sweat over his Ibrox future for another 24 hours.
The defender's Ibrox career hangs in the balance following his heated exchange with Advocaat during their Old Firm defeat at Parkhead.
The Dutchman opted to replace Ball with Peter Lovenkrands - who scored their only goal of the game - when they fell two goals behind to Celtic.
But Ball reacted furiously to the 72nd-minute substitution and appeared to swear at the Ibrox boss before storming down the tunnel.
Advocaat stated after the game that he would have showdown talks with the young stopper but now he insists he will make the 22-year-old wait until Tuesday.
Advocaat told the official Rangers website: "I have not seen Michael yet.
"I will see him tomorrow when we will talk about what happened but our discussions will remain between each other. I will talk with him and then it's up to him after that."
Ball's agent Trevor Steven insists the matter will be dealt with internally between both parties.
Steven said: "I can't add anything and nothing has been said by anyone anyway.
"I have no idea how the situation will be resolved. I'm sure it will be dealt with by Dick Advocaat and Michael when they choose to deal with it."
