Jonny Wilkinson’s waiting game ended tonight when he was added to the Lions squad for this summer’s tour to New Zealand.

Lions boss Sir Clive Woodward has made Wilkinson his 45th player for the three-Test trip, having closely monitored his comeback from a knee injury during the past month.
