Ireland amateurs fall short in European bronze medal match 

Italy were crowned champions after a phenomenal 6-1 victory over Denmark in the final in Killarney.

Ireland battled hard but were defeated by England in the bronze medal match at the European Amateur Team Championship in Killarney Golf & Fishing Club.

While at the same time Italy were crowned champions after a phenomenal 6-1 victory over Denmark in the final played in sweltering heat.
