Killarney stalwart exits in club restructuring plans

Course superintendent at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club David MacIndoe is leaving the club this week after almost 30 years in the position.

It is understood his departure is part of an ongoing restructuring programme at the financially-troubled club under consultants Deloitte.

Killarney, which has hosted the Irish Open Championship four times, is faced with spiralling debts and a serious income drop due to the recession.
