American Austin Smotherman beat Ireland’s Seamus Power in a sudden-death play-off to win the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
The showdown was scheduled after the men shared a 16-under par lead, two shots clear in a competition that was reduced to 54 holes due to weather.
The men tied the first two holes on the par-three 16th with pars, and the hole location was changed for the third extra hole.
A critical miss piled pressure on Power, but Smotherman sealed his second PGA Tour win in as many starts with a final four-footer.
The Waterford native, who won his last PGA Tour event in this tournament in 2022, was taking part in this play-off with Smotherman after Sunday's final round was cancelled due to severely inclement weather.
Power narrowly missed out on tour exemption for the 2028 season, though his strong second place finish does lift him into the top-70 in the FedEx Cup standings.
"Had a chance this morning, wasn't able to do it, which is disappointing, but overall great week, can't complain too much," said Power.
"Hit some good shots in the playoff, just didn't quite judge the wind right, but that's golf sometimes. I'll move onwards."
