• Cork Flower Club presents a gala demonstration ‘Deck the Halls’, with Ali Dietrich, in Douglas GAA Hall, on Tuesday, November 18. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, and the event supports Breast Cancer Ireland and Arc House Cork. Tickets €20.
• Ladysbridge & District Flower & Garden Club hosts its gala Christmas demonstration ‘Believe in the Magic’ with Melanie Harris, AOIFA, in the Garryvoe Hotel on Monday, November 17, at 8pm. All welcome.
• Mallow Flower & Garden Club host its gala Christmas demonstration on Tuesday, November 18, at 8pm at Mallow GAA Complex. Janet Maddock, AOIFA, will present ‘All that Glistens is not Gold’. The event is in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland.
• Conna & District Flower & Garden Club will host a demonstration with Sharon O’Sullivan, AOIFA, titled ‘A Time To Sparkle’, in Conna Hall on Wednesday, November 19, at 8pm.
• Blarney & District Garden & Flower Club invites you to a teaching demo ‘Festive Fun’, with Julie Roche, at Whitechurch Community Centre, on November 20, at 8pm. Visitors €10.
• Ballincollig Flower & Garden Club will host a demonstration by Breda Keohane, AOIFA, titled ‘Christmas’ on Thursday, November 20, at 8pm at Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin, Ballincollig.
• Owenabue Garden and Flower Club, Carrigaline, will host its gala night with a floral demonstration, ‘Christmas Cheer’. by Mary McKee, AOIFA, at St Mary’s NS, Waterpark, Carrigaline, on Monday, November 24, at 8pm.
• Carrigtwohill Flower & Garden Club hosts Patricia Duggan for ‘Sustainable Touches for a Beautiful Christmas’ on Tuesday, November 25, at 8pm in Carrigtwohill Community Centre.
• Cork Alpine Hardy Plant Society hosts Colin Jones, head gardener at Salterbridge House and Garden, on Thursday, November 27, at 8pm on ‘Sowing, Growing, Cutting and Building Your Own Flower Garden’. It takes place at Scoil Mhuire Naofa, Station Road, Carrigtwohill. Visitors and new members welcome; €10 for non-members.
• Ardfield Rathbarry Gardening Club hosts a floral demonstration by Melanie Harris, AOIFA, titled ‘Christmas Traditions’ on Thursday, November 27, at 8pm in the parish hall.
