Phony liberals get their answer

AT the time I was astonished by Senator Brendan Ryan’s ill-judged attack on Kathy Sinnott as part of his campaign for election to the European Parliament.

There was a time when certain phony liberal politicians and media commentators could get away with smearing any aspiring politician who supported the family based on marriage and the inviolability of all human life from conception to natural death with unspecific accusations of sinister intent to subvert democracy as we know it.

However, I would have thought that any clued-in politician would also realise that people will no longer tolerate such intimidatory and essentially undemocratic tactics.

In essence, these detractors were saying that those who believed in our constitution’s position on the rights of the family and the sanctity of all human life had no right to political representation.

Congratulations to Kathy Sinnott and the team who worked so hard to have her elected.
