Let’s talk it over

I STRONGLY agree with the letter of Jane Adams (Irish Examiner, November 12) about teenage suicide.

I am 14 years old.

If teenagers have a problem they tend to keep it to themselves. Some fear that if they talk about it they won’t be understood. A special programme in schools might make them feel more at ease talking about their problems. As the old saying goes, “a problem shared is a problem halved.” No young person should feel the need to take his or her life.
