The limits of ethics

I AGREE with Seamus de Barra (Irish Examiner letters, Oct 20) who notes how the Government wears a different mask for the voters at home and for the paymasters in Europe.

The limits of ethics

I believe that it was Mary Harney, commenting recently on stem cell

research, who said the Government would not oppose funding for such research in EU countries where it is legal and ethical. So there you have it, folks ethics have geographical boundaries and so there's no such thing as right and wrong in any meaningful sense.
