Hardline unionists lack foresight and courage

IT is surely time that hardline unionists like Jeffrey Donaldson and Ian Paisley had a hard look at their political traditions and re-examined them to see where they have gone wrong in the past.

There has been far too much tendency among unionists not to blame themselves for their mistakes but to blame someone else whereas, in reality, the blame largely rests with their lack of foresight and moral courage.
