Crisis pregnancy and the right advice

IRISH Family Planning Association chief executive Catherine Heaney has called for measures to regulate agencies counselling women in crisis pregnancies.

Some agencies, she alleges, while advertising to promote information on all options in reality exist only to “try and prevent women travelling abroad for an abortion”.

She doesn’t say which agencies she has in mind, nor indeed what actions they take to prevent women travelling abroad for an abortion (nothing illegal, surely!), thus casting a slur on the bona fides of all such agencies.
