What we truly owe

THERE is still very petty and begrudging criticism of religious orders in relation to their contribution for the compensation scheme for victims of abuse in institutional care.

My question - when or how is there going to be a scheme initiated to compensate the religious orders for the tremendous contribution they have made in primary and secondary education for hundreds of thousands of Irish people and also for their self sacrificing work in all areas of medical care for the people of Ireland for over 150 years?
