One nation, one vote

IN all the treaties that have gone before, never has one caused so much concern, anxiety and passion, even anger, as the Treaty of Nice.

One nation, one vote

It is a treaty that transfers forever more sovereignty to “Brussels.” We know that enlargement can proceed without it and we know from experience that the political declaration on neutrality secured in Seville will probably end up the same way as the declaration on the EU's Charter of Fundamental Rights, which is used to the unions's advantage and not that of its people.

Nothing has been changed in the actual treaty; it is the same now as when the first referendum was held on it. Treasure the fact that you have the opportunity to vote in a referendum either for or against it because many millions of people throughout the EU have been denied that chance. They are counting on you to return the same ‘no’ vote. Please, Ireland, do not waste this precious opportunity.
