House Limerick, formerly The Sin Bin, to close with the loss of almost 60 jobs

Before becoming House Limerick, it was home to Peter Clohessy’s Bar and The Sin Bin nightclub. The venue has long been part of Limerick's social scene

House Limerick venue was placed in receivership in December 2025.

House Limerick, the bar and restaurant on the banks of the Shannon, is to shut permanently with the loss of almost 60 jobs.

The venue entered receivership last December as efforts were made to identify a long-term solution.
