How toxic are fumes from incinerators?
Do they remove all toxic elements from the fumes and utilise them in other industries?
I have heard (but it’s only hearsay) that all toxins are removed from the incinerator emissions. And this was in 1972.
Is this not better than land-filling and waiting for the emissions to emerge in years to come when we have built houses on these sites. This has happened already.
We desperately need a safe solution to our waste problem.
Recently I read the pros and cons in relation to emissions and how they are dealt with, but there was not enough convincing detail.
