We need to get serious about tree planting

Wouldn’t it be great if people planted more trees. It would be very beneficial to the climate.

If hawthorns were planted by every fence in every farm, the blossoms in the spring would provide nectar for the bees.

Bees are very important as they provide us with honey and they also pollinate the crops.

In the autumn the haws provide food for the birds and the hawthorn trees are safe nesting places for birds.

If people thought about the great benefits of tree planting, they would make a greater effort.
