Man taken to hospital after shooting in Limerick 

Gardaí are investigating the shooting which occurred at approximately 8.20pm on Hyde Avenue in Ballinacurra Weston on Saturday.

A man has been taken to hospital following a shooting in Limerick city.

Gardaí are investigating the shooting which occurred at approximately 8.20pm on Hyde Avenue in Ballinacurra Weston on Saturday.

A man injured in the incident was taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of injuries gardaí believe to be non-life-threatening.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses.
