Witness appeal as woman dies after being struck by vehicle
She was brought by ambulance to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries where she was subsequently pronounced deceased on October 1.
A woman who was injured in a crash last month in Dublin has dies, gardaí have said.
The incident occurred at North Wall Quay, Dublin, on September 26 at around 11 pm when the woman, who was aged in her 30s, was struck by a vehicle.
She was brought by ambulance to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries where she was subsequently pronounced deceased on October 1.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carried out an examination of the scene and gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the vicinity of North Wall Quay on Saturday, 26th September 2026 between 10:30pm and 11:15pm, are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
