Reporting crime - A natural sensitivity

Every community, every business and nearly every family in this country has been affected by crime.

This is not a reflection on a community or individuals but rather a reality most of us have to deal with sooner or later. To pretend otherwise is foolish.

To reflect this, and changing policing circumstances, the Irish Examiner will publish a supplement next week which will look at crime across 26 counties. To promote the publication posters were customised for each Munster county to emphasise the county-by-county thoroughness of the coverage. No one county was singled out for biased coverage.
