Funeral arrangements announced for Irish dancer Niamh Flatley

Funeral details for acclaimed Irish dancer and wife of Riverdance star Michael Flatley, Niamh Flatley, have been announced.
The 52-year-old was a lead performer with her husband and died at Beacon Hospital in Dublin on Monday. She had a long-standing lung condition, which had deteriorated further over the past 12 months.
Ms Flatley will be reposing at Ryan's Funeral Home, Ashbourne in Co Meath on Friday from 4pm to 7pm.
Her funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning at the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion, at 11am, followed by a private family burial.
In her death notice, it says Ms Flatley will be “hugely missed by her heartbroken husband and son”, her parents, sisters, niece, nephews, extended family and her “many wonderful friends from school, college and the dancing world".
Mr Flatley and his wife had been married for 20 years, having tied the knot in 2006.
She was a member of the production company. The couple began dating in June 2006 and married four months later at St Patrick's Church in Fermoy, County Cork.
The couple had one child together, Michael St James, who was born in 2007.
