We need quality of life, not just jobs
His main focus seems to be on job creation, but is that the answer to our problems?
What most people want is a life, and not just a job, just ask anyone that is still in a job, but for whom life has become a constant struggle, a never ending juggling act in an effort to keep a roof over their family’s head and food on their table.
For most people, a job is a vital part of having a full and meaningful life, but not when the Government takes more and more of what you earn each month. We are then told that the solution to our problems is to work longer and harder and for more years, but that will just lead to the Government taking even more of our money from us.
This is, in effect, nothing more than slavery.
Jobs alone are not the answer. Give us involves more than spending it working. We have but a short time between the cradle and the grave. Do we really want to spend all that time in work, to pay for the mistakes of others?
