Refreshing change

WHAT a refreshing change to read Cathal Garvey’s article Fathers Being Pushed into the Background (Irish Examiner, August 7).

Parenting issues are so often presented only from the point of view of the mother, that it took an article like this to show there is another half of society whose voices are rarely heard.

Congratulations to the Examiner for doing its part to level the playing field, and hopefully we will be able to read more like this in the future.
