Watch and read: South Kerry hold off late East Kerry rally as both advance

Though they lost to South Kerry by four points, East Kerry still moved on to round 3 of the Kerry SFC 

Kerry SFC: South Kerry 1-18 East Kerry 1-14

The vagaries of this year’s Kerry Senior Football Championship meant that East Kerry were through to the third round next weekend, even though they lost by four points to South Kerry. Confused? Well, because East Kerry got a bye in the first round, they still have to be given two bites of the cherry just like the other six districts, including South Kerry, who were
well beaten last weekend by St Kieran’s.
